WHAT ARE SWAG BAGS?
People love a good surprise! People LOVE free! We are asking each Maker to donate one or more items that have a combined retail value of at least $35. These items will be distributed into our SWAG bags along with promotional materials from our Sponsors. The more items you provide, the more people you will be able to delight but keep in mind we are looking for quality over quantity.
WHEN DO I GET MY BOOTH ASSIGNMENT AND DROP MY SWAG?
All items can be dropped off on at our Info Meeting on March 21 between 600-730pm, at Space42. If items are perishable, bring to the Friday set up. If you are from out of town and setting up early Saturday, bring them to us at check in on Sat. Get in touch if you have further questions.
We will be locking the doors to Space42 overnight. The entire property that houses Space42 is gated with security fencing. an alarm and is also locked at night. Feel free to remove anything valuable and bring it back on Saturday + Sunday- While we will do our best to keep your area secure, we are not responsible for anything left overnight.
ARE WE PERMITTED TO PUT UP WALLS/BOOTH SEPARATORS?
Only 10x10's will be permitted to build walls or other supports taller than 5 feet. This is to allow air flow to all areas in the large venue.
***IS THERE AIR CONDITIONING IN SPACE42?***
Space42 does not have A/C BUT there are a lot more open bay doors than at the GF and cross breeze will make it a million times better! Electricity is limited.
***BE PREPARED TO BEING A BATTERY OPERATED FAN- FANS REQUIRING ELECTRICITY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED***
We will have large fans running but do not depend on them.
Definitely eat a solid breakfast! This is a three day event and it's a marathon, not a sprint! We will have water available and and volunteers to booth sit while you run to a truck and get some food, we strongly encourage that you bring some snacks for your day.
MARKET SET UP INFORMATION
The official hours of the event are Friday 6:30-10, Saturday 11-8 and Sunday 11-4
UNLOADING ON FRIDAY
We will have an unloading zone open on Friday. We will be using the Space42 parking lot, please do not leave your car for an extended period of time. Thank you for being considerate to other vendors and once you unload all your goods/set up t your booth space, please move your car and then return to set up.
Parking is first come first serve and Makers are welcome to park in the front of Space42 to quickly drop off their booth goods. There is street parking and a couple parking spaces in the area, please follow all no parking signs.
TABLES AND CHAIRS
Tables and chairs are not provided, you will need to bring your own.
We will do our best to provide you a working outlet but WE DO NOT guarantee access if you do not give us advanced notice. You will be electrical cords with you. Any cords used must be heavy duty and suitable for commercial use and have a label with your name on them.
WIFI is available but coverage is not guaranteed. We recommend using the offline option provided by your mobile payment provider.
WHAT TO BRING
You must bring your own:
Table cover/table cloth
Wall constructs (only permitted for 10x10's or larger)
BATTERY OPERATED FANS
KNOW YOUR BOOTH SIZE AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY
Whether you have a 6x6, 6x12 or one of the larger options at 10x10 (or bigger!)- its so important for you to plan ahead. There are endless posts on Pinterest that will provide tips and tricks. Utilize these!
We will have industrial fans with misters but no matter how many we may have, if there are walls up between all the interior booths, then air will not flow= hotter than hades= sweaty Makers and sweaty, unhappy customers.
6x6 Booths + 6x12 Booths ARE NOT PERMITTED to have walls constructs between booths any higher than 5 feet
10x10 Booths are permitted to have wall constructs because they will be place on the perimeter of the building.
