Check back for new FAQ's as they come in.
People love a good surprise! People LOVE free! We are asking each Maker to donate one or more items that have a combined retail value of at least $35. These items will be distributed into our SWAG bags along with promotional materials from our Sponsors. The more items you provide, the more people you will be able to delight.
All items can be dropped off on at our Registration night the weekend before the Fall Market or if you would like to get them to us early we can meet up and get a coffee while we're at it! Just get in touch.
We will be locking the doors to the Glass Factory overnight. The entire property that houses the Glass Factory and Engine 15 is gated with security fencing and is also locked at night. For additional security, we plan to add security cameras to the inside area on Saturday night. Feel free to remove anything valuable and bring it back on Sunday. While we will do our best to keep your area secure, we are not responsible for anything left overnight.
ARE WE PERMITTED TO PUT UP WALLS/BOOTH SEPARATORS?
Only Green 10x10 and Yellow booths will be permitted to build walls or other supports taller than 5 feet. This is to allow air flow to all areas in the large venue.
***IS THERE AIR CONDITIONING IN THE GLASS FACTORY?***
The Glass Factory may or may not have A/C in time for the Fall Market. Electricity is limited.
***BE PREPARED TO BEING A BATTERY OPERATED FAN- FANS REQUIRING ELECTRICITY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED***
We will have large fans running if necessary but do not depend on them.
Definitely eat a solid breakfast! This is a two day event and its a marathon, not a sprint! We'd really prefer we have happy Makers and not hangry ones. Not to mention, you want to make sales not push our attendees on account of your stomach making Bear like growls. While we will provide waters here and there as well as a volunteer to Booth sit while you run to a truck and get some food, we strongly encourage that you bring some snacks for throughout the day.
MARKET SET UP INFORMATION
The official hours of the event are 11-5 on Saturday and 11-4 on Sunday.
UNLOADING ON FRIDAY
We will have an unloading zone open on Friday. We will be using the Glass Factory parking lot, not Engine 15’s. They use this for deliveries on Friday and leaving your car in their parking lot is a potential problem. Please do not leave your car for an extended period of time. Thank you for being considerate to other vendors and Engine 15.
Parking is first come first serve and Makers are welcome to park in the front of The Glass Factory to quickly drop off their booth goods. There is a white station/building two blocks down that is open for parking as well. Please park here and allow closer parking for attendees. Please follow all no parking signs.
TABLES AND CHAIRS
Tables and chairs will be set up at your booth if you have made previous arrangements with us. If you did not indicate that you wanted them on your application, please contact us ASAP so we can accommodate you. You will be required to provide a tablecloth or covering for your table.
The venue is large and old. Electricity is available but you must specify on your application that you need it for your products NOT to charge your phone. We will do our best to provide you a working outlet. We do not guarantee access if you do not give us advanced notice. You will be electrical cords with you. Any cords used must be heavy duty and suitable for commercial use.
WIFI is available but coverage is spotty and not guaranteed. We recommend using the offline option provided by your mobile payment provider.
WHAT TO BRING
We offered tables and chairs previously but found it wasn't taken advantage of so we are not doing so this year. YOu must bring your own:
Table cover/table clothe
Wall constructs (only permitted for 10x10's or larger)
BATTERY OPERATED FANS
KNOW YOUR BOOTH SIZE AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY
Whether you have a 6x6, 6x12 or one of the larger options at 10x10 (or bigger!)- its so important for you to plan ahead. How to present and decorate your booth has every bit to do with how you attract customers. There are endless posts on Pinterest that will provide tips and tricks. Definitely utilize these!
Due to the layout (and being indoors) of the Glass Factory, air flow is less than ideal. For this reason, we are prepared to provide industrial size fans with sprayers but no matter how many we may have- if there are walls up between all the interior booths, then air will not flow= hotter than hades= sweaty Makers and sweaty, unhappy customers.
6x6 Booths + 6x12 Booths ARE NOT PERMITTED to have walls constructs between booths any higher than 5 feet- if you can avoid having walls altogether, we strongly recommend it. If the GF gets A/C at any point, this rule will change and we'll contact you all immediately so you can change up your Booth.
10x10 Booths are permitted to have wall constructs.
